Argyri Stratiotis

Argyri Stratiotis, of New York, passed away peacefully at the age of 86.She will remain in our hearts as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her daughters Callie Kelepesis and Connie Greenbaum; her grandchildren Louis Tirado III and Constantine Kelepesis; her great grandchildren Damien Tirado and Louis Tirado IV; and her son-in-law William Greenbaum.Though she carried health struggles with quiet strength, Argyri's spirit remained strong. She possessed a deep love of knowledge, languages, opera, and Greek music. She shared that passion generously with those around her.A giving soul, she will be remembered for her generosity and curiosity. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.A Religious Service will be held at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Shrine Church, 196-10 Northern Blvd, Flushing, NY 11358, on August 5, 2026, at 9:30 am. Burial will follow at Cypress Hills Cemetery, 833 Jamaica Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11208.
