The family of Arline Coles, nee Simmons, sadly announces her passing on June 11 at the age of 100. Born and raised in the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Sally and Meyer Simmons.
After graduating from Emerson College, she first opened and directed a nursery school and later did substitute teaching, led brownie troops and recorded texts for the visually impaired population.
Arline was predeceased by her loving husband Morris Coles and leaves her daughter Pam Skulsky, son Daniel Coles (Leslie), grandchildren Marissa Suckling (Tim Heinecke) and Jeremy Coles and great grandchildren Shane Davis and Jimmy Suckling.
Graveside services will be held at Judean Gardens in Olney on Monday, June 15 at 12 pm followed by a condolence reception, location to be announced.
