Arnold Goldman

October 15, 2026 Montréal, Quebec Paperman & Fils

Peacefully, on October 15, 2026, at the age of 106. Beloved Husband of Madelaine for 75 years. Loving Father and Father-in-law of Denise and Jeffrey Zunenshine, Bonny and Ed Fishman, Ginny Goldman, Robert and Laura Goldman, and Danny and Evelyn Goldman. Proud grandfather of Mindy and Ryan, Michael, Jaime and Bernard, Max, Graham, Ethan, and Declyn. Adoring great-grandfather of Aubrey, Lonnie, Mylo, Juliette, Lilly and Daisy. Cherished brother, uncle and friend.

A courageous US Army WWII veteran and prisoner of war, Arnold served his country with the greatest of honor. Of all his life's many chapters, his service in the U.S. Army and his contributions to defending his country remained a great source of pride. Born in the former Czechoslovakia to the late Meyer and the late Mindel Goldman, his family immigrated to New York in the 1930s. Driven by a profound connection to his heritage, Arnold later made the bold and meaningful move to make Aliyah with his family. He spent his retirement years in DelRay Beach, Florida.

Above all his medals, honors and accomplishments, his greatest joy was his family. He was also an avid lover of gardening, arts and antiques and his computer where he spent hours a day keeping his brain sharp by playing solitaire and keeping up with the latest news! He passed as he lived, with quiet dignity and peace, surrounded by family. Special thanks to his nurses Hyancinth, Jackie, Deena, Janette, and Daphne for his/her/their care and devotion. A funeral service will be held on Sunday October 18th in Del Ray Beach, Florida and burial will be in North Palm Beach. Shiva will be at his home. Denise will be taking visitors when she returns to Montreal.
