Basilio “Guero” R. Rosales, Jr., 78 of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. He was born on Sunday, June 1, 1947, in Robstown, Texas to Virginia and Basilio.

Basilio married Miss Virginia Sepeda on November 21, 1967, in Ft. Worth, Texas. He worked as a homebuilder for numerous companies in the Dallas and Ft. Worth area.

Basilio was a proud member of the Catholic Community, he had a passion for God and his family. He was well known for his long talks, advice, and joking mannerism. Most of all, his love for his family.

Basilio is preceded in death by his parents: Basilio and Virginia. Sisters: Jesusa (Luis) Guzman, Consuelo (Macedonio) Rodriguez, Leonor (Theodoro) Gutierrez, Marina (Martin) Arce, Maria Louisa (Abel) Enrriques. Brothers: Santiago (Maria) Guerra, Jose (Lile) Guerra, and Benito Guerra. Left to cherish his loving memory is his wife: Virginia Rosales, their children: Basilio (Veronica) Rosales III, Christella (Daniel) Powers, Santiago (Lamar) Rosales. Grandchildren: Gabriella (Christopher) Hunnicutt, Basilio (Ivette) Rosales IV, Sebastian Rosales, Victoria Powers, JD Powers, Zoey (Orlando) Zamarripa, Rumaldo Rosales, Virginia Rosales, Marina Rosales, and numerous beloved great grandchildren. Brothers and Sisters: Ofelia (Abelino) Tamez, Jose Villareal, Brother-in-Law Rumaldo (Linda) Sepeda and Sister-in-Law Velia (Alfredo) Maldonado. He will forever be remembered by his numerous nieces and nephews whom he treasured and deeply loved. They were his joy in life, and it brought him immeasurable comfort to have them faithfully by his side supporting him and holding his hand through his final journey.
