Bernice Elizabeth Vanek went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. She was born on September 5, 1942.She married Clarence Vanek on February 23, 1963, and made her home in Taylor, TX. She worked at the Taylor Compress until her retirement.Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clarence, and a son Leroy Vanek.Survived by her son Michael Vanek, daughters Lisa Morris and Patricia Vanek, grandchildren Alicia, Cody, Elizabeth, Allison, and Christopher, 2 great-granddaughters, sister-in-law Lillie Vanek, and numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation: August 31, 2026, 5:00-7:00PM at Providence Funeral Home.Mass of Christian Burial: September 1, 2026, 10:00AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Taylor.Burial: St. Mary’s Cemetery.
