Bettie Ann Bass Forester, age 92 of Cartersville, GA passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. She was born in Chickamauga, GA on January 10, 1934.
Bettie is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Forester; parents, George Pierce Bass and Virgie Cherry Bass; daughter Pamela Forester. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Frank) Knowles, Deborah (Tony) Nix; grandchildren, Katie Knowles Freas (Scott), Amber Nix Warren (Cameron), Matthew Knowles (Katie), Brian Nix (Bailey), Daniel Knowles (Kristen); great grandchildren, Addison Knowles, Levi Knowles, Joshua Freas, Jacob Freas, Lainey Knowles, Grayson Knowles, Aubrey Warren, Cora Knowles, Brooklyn Knowles, Blaire Nix, Landon Knowles, Blakely Nix.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 29, 2026 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at Owen Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be conducted Saturday, August 29 at 12:00 pm at Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park 724 Hogan Rd, Rossville, GA with Rev. Danny Barker officiating.
