Beverly Louise Cavish

September 24, 2026 Dignity Memorial

Beverly Louise Cavish was born on August 5, 1940, in Los Angeles, California. She passed away peacefully at home in Las Vegas, NV on September 24, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Beverly raised three daughters, Heidi Maree Gail of Hesperia, CA; Sonja Jo Marshall of Joplin, MO; and Robyn Louise Fort of Las Vegas, NV. She was a proud grandmother to twelve, great-grandmother to thirteen and great-great grandmother to one.

Beverly had a passion for rescuing animals of all kinds. Some of her favorites were two Double Yellow Headed parrots named Percy and Mojo and her Bearded Collie, Polly Anna. She also enjoyed spending time with a good book or at the beach watching the waves break along the shore. In her later years she loved cheering on the Vegas Golden Knights hockey team and playing a little video poker at local casinos. Though she called many places home, Las Vegas was her home for the last 25 years. For the last several years of her life, she lived with her daughter, Robyn, and son-in-law Wayne.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Lee Cavish and Joseph Thomas Cavish; her brother, Joseph Donald Cavish; and three beloved grandchildren: Robyn’s daughters, Stephanie Lynn Hensley and Rebecca Suzanne Hensley, and Sonja’s son, Joseph Thomas Marshall.

Beverly’s family is deeply grateful to Natasha Gray, whose compassionate and loving care brought comfort and dignity to their mother during her final year of life. With extraordinary kindness and devotion, she cared for their mother with a gentle heart surrounding her with warmth and tenderness. Her presence was a true gift to the family.

Beverly was loved, and she will be greatly missed.
