Beverly Mae Jensen CuppsBeverly “Bev” Jensen Cupps of Sunnyvale, CA passed away on May 18, 2026, she was 97 years old.

Bev was born August 4, 1928, in San Jose, CA to Alyce Hamilton and Vernon Jensen. She grew up in San Jose, graduating from Lincoln High and studying art at San Jose State. She met and married David Cupps, and they moved to Sunnyvale in 1958.

Bev enjoyed travel and wildlife. She started in her youth visiting Lake Tahoe and met her future husband at the Boardwalk beach in Santa Cruz. Over her lifetime she visited many National Parks and explored many sights in the United States, Europe and even Australia. She also was a fan of Disneyland and all things Disney. Her backyard always provided an oasis for wildlife.

Bev enjoyed cooking and baking, known for her famous gingerbread cookies. Her home was the display for her collection of art, ceramics, seasonal wreaths, crafts and miniature houses.

Bev is survived by her children Tim (Jamie) Cupps and Sandy (Bill) Pitts, along with 2 grandchildren Kristine (David) Rubenstein and Robert (Julie) Pitts, and 5 great-grandchildren Alexandra, Charles, Julia Rubenstein and Nolan and Edith Pitts. She was predeceased in death by her parents and her husband David Cupps.
