Bobby Eugene Fletcher

April 30, 2026 Dignity Memorial

Bobby Eugene Fletcher was born on December 27, 1950, and passed away on April 30, 2026, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, with his family by his side. He retired from Flavorich Dairy and, in his free time, enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening when he was able.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Lorene Fletcher; his parents, Eugene and Juanita Fletcher; his grandfather, Elbert Fletcher; his grandmother, Lula Fletcher Yeary; step-grandfather, Elliott Yeary; his grandparents, George Washington and Rachel Pricela Sumpter; his brother, Mitchell (Sue) Fletcher; his sister, Carolyn (Charles) Skaggs; and his nephew, Timothy Skaggs.

Left to cherish his memory is his sister and brother-in-law, Diania and Lloyd Mayes; his niece and nephews, Debbie and Scotty Mayes, and Michael Fletcher; along with a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews: Amber, Samantha, Haley, Mikel, Jeffrey, Bradley, Cheyenne, Austin, Ryder, Alex, Keylee, Jordy, Remington, Avery, and Colson. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews from his wife’s side of the family, as well as many dear friends.

Serving as pallbearers are Scott Mayes, Michael Fletcher, Mikel Smiddy, Jeffrey Thompson, Bradley Thompson, and Alex Mayes. These individuals held a special place in Bobby’s life, and their role as pallbearers is a meaningful tribute to the love and respect they shared with him.

Funeral arrangements are set for Monday, May 4, 2026. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a graveside service to follow at Fairview Cemetery. The service will be officiated by David Billingsley, and music will be provided by the Riverview Singers.
