Bonita Sue Prestridge Sandifer passed on May 18, 2026, at the age of 79. She was born on December 08, 1946 in Lake Charles to Eldridge "T-Model" and Fern Oglesby Prestridge.
She is survived by her son, Robby Sandifer (Dawn Renee Duncan); daughters, Tina Chambers and Tammy Post (Paul Fontenot); brother, Glenn Prestridge, sister, Dolores Fields (Pete); 11 grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Sandifer; brothers, John Prestridge, Jim Prestridge, and Clyde Prestridge; and a sister, Sybil Severe.
Pallbearers will be John J. West, Rusty West, Scotty West, Nathan Sandifer, Eddie Mercer, Paul Fontenot, Everett West, and Damian Whitaker.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles 3001 Ryan Street Lake Charles on Thursday, May 21, 2026 from 11:00 am until time of services at 1:30 PM.
