Brianne Allis (Leclaire) Fox, 46, of Hampstead, NC passed away on Wednesday, May 13, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, on November 6, 1979, to Mary and David.
Brianne married the love of her life, John (Johnny) Fox on November 4, 2008, in Upstate New York. They had two beautiful children, Justin (17) and Kristen (13), who were the lights of her life.
She started her career as a Physician’s Assistant treating patients with Infectious Diseases in Southampton, NY and continued after moving to Wilmington, NC even during her treatments.
Brianne is survived by her loving husband, Johnny, her two amazing children, Justin and Kristen as well as her father, David Leclaire; her stepfather, George Skraastad; her sisters: Melissa (Joseph) Fusco, Dana Leclaire, Casey (Michael) Motika, and Cecelia Skraastad; her father-and mother-in-law, John & Catherine Fox; her nephews and nieces, as well as very extended family and wonderful friends. She is proceeded in death by her mother, Mary Skraastad and mother-in-law, Alice Bauer.
The family would like to thank LifeCare Health Services Hospice team as well as her oncologists and nursing staff for the care they provided Brianne during her treatment.
Her viewing service is being held on Monday, May 18 between 2-6 pm at Andrews Mortuary Chapel in Hampstead, NC. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to Tunnel to Towers Foundation at t2t.org.
