It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carl Ocena, who entered eternal rest on September 23, 2026, at the age of 71.

Carl was born on April 25, 1955, in Brooklyn, New York. He later made his home in Linden, New Jersey, where he built a beautiful life centered on faith, family, love, and service to others.

For more than 40 years, Carl dedicated himself to Acupowder International in Union, New Jersey, where he proudly served as a Group Leader. Throughout his many years of service, he earned the respect of his colleagues through his strong work ethic, leadership, dependability, and unwavering commitment.

Above all else, Carl was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and family man. He shared 40 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Marie Ocena. Together, they built a loving family and raised four children who were the pride and joy of his life: Carl Jr. Ocena, David Ocena, Jacob Ocena, and their cherished daughter, Treesha Ocena.

Carl was also a proud and loving grandfather to his two precious granddaughters, Janiyah Ocena and Jazlynn Ocena. They brought him tremendous joy, and he cherished the special moments and memories he shared with them.

Carl found his greatest happiness in spending time with his wife, children, and granddaughters. He enjoyed attending church, reading, and listening to music. His faith was an important part of his life and guided the way he treated others—with kindness, generosity, patience, and compassion.

Those fortunate enough to know Carl will remember him as an amazing father, a loving and devoted husband and grandfather, and a genuinely wonderful man. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, offer words of encouragement, and welcome others with warmth and kindness. His love for his family was unwavering, and his generous spirit left a lasting impression on everyone whose life he touched.

Carl’s greatest legacy is the family he loved so deeply and the values he instilled in them. His strength, faith, kindness, and selflessness will continue to live on through his wife, children, granddaughters, and all those who loved him.

Though our hearts are filled with sorrow, we are forever grateful for the precious years, memories, laughter, and love we shared with Carl. While his physical presence will be deeply missed, the love he gave so freely will remain with us always.

Carl will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
