Carl Robert Deppmeyer, 88, died June 4, 2026, at his home in St. Simons Island, Ga. He was born in Utica, N.Y., and lived in Port St. Lucie, Fla., before moving to Georgia to be near family.He proudly served in the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Arlene Deppmeyer.Survivors include his sons, Timothy, Thomas, and Carl Deppmeyer; daughter, Belinda Hazlett; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.Interment at Arlington National Cemetery is planned, with service arrangements to be announced at a later date.
