Carol Meetze Farr, 74, of Little Mountain, South Carolina, passed away on August 21, 2026. She was a strong and loving wife, mother, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roger William Meetze and Eleanor Eargle Meetze; her brothers, Dale Meetze and David Meetze; and her son, Roger Thomas Farr.
Survivors include her husband, James David Farr; her son, Gary Bass; her daughter, Andrea Ricker (Steve); and her sister, Jonnie Jones (Tracy). Special thanks to her Aunt Ree.
Carol was a wonderful wife and mother who gave her whole heart to her family, and a great friend to many who were lucky enough to know her. She was strong in spirit and steady in love, the kind of presence that made everyone around her feel cared for. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who loved her.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel, 123 Columbia Avenue, Chapin, SC 29036. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Bethel Lutheran Church, 2081 Dutch Fork Road, White Rock, SC 29177, with interment to follow at Bethel Lutheran Church Cemetery. Please wear casual attire per Carol's wishes.
