Christopher Johnathan Maes, 37, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away on September 23, 2026. Born January 15, 1989, in Colorado, Christopher was the son of Josephita Maes and the late Raymond Marty Ramirez.
Christopher found comfort in the familiar joys of everyday life—time spent playing video games, smoking cigarettes, listening to Metallica, and surrounding himself with the colors he loved most, maroon and purple. In the lives of those who knew him best, he held a steady and meaningful place, and he will be remembered with respect and affection.
Above all, Christopher was a beloved uncle, and his presence in the lives of his nieces and nephews was a source of love and connection that will be deeply missed.
Christopher is survived by his mother, Josephita Maes; his sisters, Sheriee Maes and Maria Maes; his nieces, Zarah Maes, Reyna Maes, and Sharon Maes; and his nephews, Reyes Jaramillo, Gabriel Maes, Colton Maes, Logan Maes, Elijah Maes, and Julian Maes.
