Claude Jauvin
Passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 89 years and 10 months.He was the husband of Rose-Ange Larouche and resided in Alma. Claude was the son of the late David Jauvin and Cécile Martel, and the son by adoption of the late Thomas-Louis Côté and Simone Turcotte.
He was a member of the 3rd and 4th degree of the Knights of Columbus in Hébertville-Station.
The family will receive condolences on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, September 12, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM at Église Saint-Wilbrod, 750 Rue Saint-Wilbrod, Hébertville-Station. The funeral service will be held the same Saturday at 10:30 AM. Claude will be interred at the Hébertville-Station Cemetery.
He left behind his children: Régis (Louise ‘lelou’ Dufour), Cécile (Bruno Côté), France (Bruno Lavoie), and Bernard (Dominique Couture). His grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many relatives and friends.
He was the brother of Lucette (the late Clovis Gauthier, Paul-André Tremblay), the late Marcel (the late Huguette Henly), Monique (the late Miville Gagnon), the late Madeleine (Pierre Barrette), Aurel (the late Mona Grimard, Diane Barbeau), Benoît-Philippe, Diane (Martin Girard), and the late Jacques Côté (Gaétane Rathé).
He was also the son-in-law of the late Philippe Larouche and the late Louisia Simard, and a brother-in-law to several.
His memory will remain with all who knew him, remembered for his kindness and joyful spirit.
