Claude Trottier, née Magnan, passed away on July 9, 2026, at the age of 84 at his home in Montréal. He was the husband of Marie Blainey and left behind family members including his brothers and children from his spouse. The family received visitors at the Pavillon Commémoratif Ville-Marie, with funeral services held on July 17, 2026. Donations in his memory could be made to the Fondation des maladies du cœur et de l’AVC.
