Obituary of Clément Girard
On April 29, 2026, at the age of 91 years and 5 months, Mr. Clément Girard passed away at the CIUSSS du Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean Centre d'hébergement Jacques-Cartier, husband of Ms. Lisette Martin, residing in Chicoutimi. He was the son of the late Mrs. Emma Munger and the late Mr. Victor Girard.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the Chicoutimi Funeral Complex.
A Word celebration will be held on May 15, 2026, at 4 p.m. at the Chicoutimi Chapel.
His ashes will be interred at the Sainte-Anne Cemetery.
He leaves behind his wife, Ms. Lisette Martin, his daughter Vicky Girard, married to Carl Turcotte, and his grandchildren Olivier (Rébecca Laforest) and Mélody (Déreck Boucher). He was the brother of the late Lionel, Lucia, Aliette, Raymond, Léon-Maurice, Robert, Jean-Marie, Jean-Jules, Solange, Georgette, Camil, Germain.
His brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law include the late Marguerite, Gérard, Raymond, Jeanine, Rachel, Thérèse, Nicole, Micheline, Louise.
Many nieces and nephews, especially Louis, Claudie, France, along with other relatives and friends, mourn his passing.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Jacques-Cartier Residence for the excellent care provided to Mr. Girard.
