Clifton "Cliff" J Ivey Jr.

Clifton J. Ivey, Jr., our much-beloved son, 53, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on August 5, 2026.

He is survived by his parents, Nina and Clifton Ivey, Sr., and his beloved, long-time secretary, Tawny Roberts. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, F.J. and Betty Ivey. Clifton attended LSU Law School and practiced law in Baton Rouge. He also worked with the Pointe Coupee Sheriff89s Department, the West Baton Rouge Sheriff89s Department, and the Baton Rouge City Police Department. He served as Assistant Police Chief in Central, Louisiana. Clifton taught Sunday School at First United Methodist Church in Baton Rouge and sang in the choir at both First United Methodist Church and First Presbyterian Church in Baton Rouge. He was also a member of the Baton Rouge Rotary Club.
