Clyde Edward Noblitt, 78, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Frye Regional Hospital after a brief illness.Born in Catawba County on September 6, 1947, he was the son of Clyde Spencer and Frances Cummings Lowe.In addition to his parents, he was preceded by brothers David Noblitt, Clarence Noblitt, and sister Rebecca Corum.Clyde was a US Army Vietnam veteran, and worked in maintenance for the Town of Brookford, and was a member of Faith Tabernacle.He is survived by his wife Sue Adams Noblitt, sons Mark Noblitt (Vicki) and David Allen Noblitt, grandson Bradley Noblitt (Catherine), and great grandsons Brentlee and Kace Noblitt.The family will receive friends on August 11, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:45 pm at Hickory Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at Brookford City Cemetery with Reverend R. Rroger Webb officiating.
