Colman "Charlie" Keen Jr. passed on July 4, 2026, at the age of 67. Charlie, a resident of Selma, was born in Johnston County on December 15, 1958, to the late Colman and Mary Lee Keen.He is survived by his wife Phyllis Carroll Keen; sons, Joshua Keen and his wife, Sandy of Pine Level, Daniel Keen and his wife, Melissa of Selma; grandchildren, Ashton Keen and his wife, Maddy, Morgan Keen and her fiancé, Cameron, Cole Keen, Justin Keen, Hannah Keen and Tinsley Keen. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sister, Teresa Carroll.A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at McLaurin Funeral Home, 12830 Clayton Boulevard, Clayton, North Carolina, on July 9, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
