Daniel Mark Claytor

Daniel Mark Claytor, 56, of Waynesboro, VA passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 25, 2026 at Augusta Health in Fishersville, VA.Born August 5, 1969 in Waynesboro, he was a son of Charlotte (Evans) Claytor and the late Billy Claytor.Daniel grew up in Crozet, VA and still considered it his hometown. He worked in construction for most of his life. Daniel was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Stuarts Draft, VA. He was an avid ham radio operator but his greatest joy in life was attending his granddaughter Lilly’s soccer games or anything else that she was involved in.In addition to his mother, survivors include his daughter, Taylor Claytor; granddaughter, Lilly Claytor; two brothers, Dennis Claytor (Patsy) and Doug Claytor; a number of nieces and nephews; and his canine companion, Gracie.Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Calvary United Methodist Church Cemetery, 2179 Stuarts Draft Highway, Stuarts Draft, VA.
