Daniel S. Geer, 70, passed away on June 11, 2026.
Born in Norwich, Connecticut, on April 28, 1956, he was the son of the late Robert and Dorothy (Shea) Geer.Daniel is survived by his beloved companion, Karen Chase, whom he affectionately referred to as “The Best Girlfriend in the World.” He is also survived by his brothers, Robert D. Geer Jr. (Sandra Loftus), Kenneth J. Geer (Elizabeth), and William E. Geer; and by his nieces and nephews, Caitlyn Geer Vessels (Thomas) and their children Hannah and Nora, Stacey Geer, Jacob Geer (Erin) and their children Henry and Shea, and Silas Geer.Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Avery-Stoddard Cemetery 202 Stoddards Wharf Rd. Gales Ferry on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.Daniel will be remembered with love and missed by all who knew him.
