David Christopher Causby, 47, of Lenoir passed on July 4, 2026, at Amorem Hospice in Hudson. He was born on August 20, 1978, in McDowell County to Kimberly Denise Duncan Elkins and the late Harold Edward Causby.
David was a loving and dedicated husband and father. He was always ready and willing to help others: whether it be a family member, friend, or coworker. He had a smile that would brighten your day.
In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Tammy Hepler Causby of the home, daughters, Savannah Causby of Fayetteville, Sarinnah Causby of Lenoir, his stepfather, Jody Elkins of Morganton, his stepmother, Judy Causby of Batesburg/Leesville, SC brothers, Nicholas Brian Causby and fiance Jeannie Conley of Sawmills and Clinton Daniel Causby and wife Sommer of Lenoir, nieces, Alysia Causby, Marie Causby, both of Lenoir and a nephew, Christian Causby and wife Savannah of Granite Falls.
A Receiving of Friends will be held on July 11, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home.
