David Duchesne, at the age of 34 years, passed away at his home on July 14, 2026. He was a resident of Chicoutimi and was the son of the late Nicole Bouchard and M. Alain Duchesne.
A celebration of farewell will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 15:00 at the 5th season chapel of the Chicoutimi Funeral Complex. Family and friends wishing to participate in the farewell ceremony can view it live broadcasted on that day.
David left behind many loved ones, including his brother William Duchesne, his grandmother Nicole Fortin, his aunt Nathalie Duchesne and her partner Aldo Duguay, his uncle Sylvain Duchesne and his partner Julie Ouellet, and cousins Alexandre Duchesne and Michael Gravel. He was also loved by his friends and colleagues at CGI.
The family thanks everyone for their support and kind words during this difficult time. Donations in his memory can be made to the Saguenay Palliative Care House or online via their website.
