David Lee Eckler, 87 of Burr Hill passed away on Monday April 27, 2026. He was a US Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by two sons, John Eckler and wife, Jamie Marie and Thomas Eckler and wife, Tammy; daughter, Michelle Brittain; sister, Cathy Gross; and eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife Kay, son David Eckler Jr, granddaughter Stephanie and great granddaughter Makayla.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM in Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, FL 34241.
