David Lewis Powell passed on August 25, 2026, at the age of 66. Born August 25, 1960, in Union Springs, Alabama, David lived in Rockford, Alabama.
He is survived by his daughters Breanna Powell and Erica Powell (Daniel), his sisters Debra Powell and Jenny Renfroe, and his grandchildren Rayna Maglione, Karlee Whetstone, Jordan Whetstone, Bryan Stanton, and Dakota Whetstone. His aunt was Deborah Hethcox, his nephew Will Schmidbauer, and nieces Rachel Schmidbauer, Mahaley Killingsworth, and Mckenley Renfroe. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, John Hatfield; mother, Marjorie Hatfield; father, Bill Powell; and wife, Brenda Powell.
He will be buried at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Sylacauga, Alabama.
