David Peter Nowak

David Peter Nowak, of Rochester, NY, passed away unexpectedly on June 13, 2026, at the age of 78.He was a proud U.S. Army veteran who served in Vietnam, during the Vietnam War. Upon returning home from his time in the service, he began a career working for General Motors, retiring after 32 years. After his retirement, Dave began driving school bus for Boces #1 in Fairport, which he would go on to enjoy for 13 years.David spent numerous years volunteering for Macedon Fire and Ambulance. He was also a lifetime member of VFW Post #8495. In his free time, Dave was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at St. Pius X Church, 3010 Chili Ave. Rochester, NY 14624.
