David Ray Westbrook I, age 72, passed on July 9, 2026. Born June 11, 1954, in Phenix City, Alabama, David was a resident of Phenix City, Alabama.
He was retired from Georgia Power after 42 years of service. He loved music, working in his yard and his shop, enjoyed bologna sandwiches, cooking on the grill, and watching cartoons with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Dana Westbrook, children, Bryan Westbrook, Dave Westbrook (Jennifer), Kristin Ballenger (Michael); grandchildren, Christopher Williams, Lauren Westbrook, David Ray Westbrook II, Taylor Westbrook, Rose Ballenger, Jordan Ballenger, Riley Westbrook, Brianna Westbrook, and Jaxson Williams; sister Rita Ogletree; brothers Ricky Westbrook and Larry Westbrook (Dianne); and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
