Debra C. Sandquist

With deep love and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Debbie Sandquist, who passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026 at the age of 63, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Des Moines, IA, and lived a life of love, strength, and compassion. Debbie was dedicated to serving others, working as a Peer Support Advocate at Broadlawns Medical Center, and was a woman of faith. She enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, and expressing her creativity through drawing. Debbie is survived by her children Jerehmy (Jessica) and Jennifer (Nate), grandchildren Serenity, Logan, Skyler, Trista, Taylor, and Samantha, siblings Carol and David, and her beloved fur baby Macy. She was preceded in death by her parents George Jr. and Marge Catanzano and her brother George Catanzano III. Her legacy of love, kindness, and faith will be missed dearly.
