Denise Côté

Obituary:

On May 2, 2026, Mme Denise Côté, wife of the late Mr. Patrick Gagnon, residing in Chicoutimi, passed away at the CIUSSS of Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, Centre d'hébergement de la Colline at the age of 83 years and 3 months. She was the daughter of the late Madame Mariette Savard and Monsieur Léonce Côté.

Her family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Chicoutimi Funeral Complex.

She leaves to mourn her children: Luc Gagnon (Nathalie Morin) and Patrick Junior (Annie Gobeil); her grandchildren: Kevin Gagnon, Kimberly Gagnon, Guillaume Gagnon, Catherine Gagnon, Émile Gagnon, Alexandre Morin, Michaël Morin, Anne-Sophie Morin, the late Kaven Potvin, and Guillaume Potvin; and her great-grandchildren: Jaymi, Eva, Jordan, Nathan, Léane, Aly, Alice, Logan, Jade, and Zack.

She was the sister of Richard Côté (Jocelyne Dumas), Lise Côté (Raymond Bouchard), Christian Côté (Aline Lalande), the late Gilles Côté (Solange Gaudreault), and the late Ghislain Côté (Yvonne Leclaire).

She was the sister-in-law of the late Ida Gagnon (Raymond Gagnon), and the late Gérard and Géraldine (Luc Bronsard).
She was the godmother of Mr. Marc Bronsard and Mr. Guy Imbeault.

She also leaves behind many nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

The family would like to thank all the staff of the Centre d'hébergement de la Colline for the good care provided to Mme Côté.

For those wishing to offer donations, a volunteer from the Society Alzheimer Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean will be present at the funeral home to collect them.
