She was the daughter of the late Joseph-Alcide Godbout and the late Marie-Rose Thibault. She lived in La Pocatière, Kamouraska.

On August 2, 2026, in Notre-Dame-de-Fatima Hospital in La Pocatière, she passed away at the age of 89. She was the wife of the late Mr. Guy Saucier. The family will receive condolences at the Marius Pelletier Funeral Complex located at 409, 9th Street, Desrochers Blvd, La Pocatière, QC G0R1Z0 on Sunday, August 30, 2026, from 12:00 to 14:55. A farewell ceremony will be held the same day at 15:00 in the chapel of the funeral complex, and the ashes will be deposited in the columbarium. She leaves behind her children: Serge (France Dancause), Marie-Claude (Patrick Gourde), Steeve (Debra Freeman Saucier); her grandchildren: Abraham Saucier (Laura Carrier), Israël Saucier, Nathan Gourde (Malorie Ouellet), Loïck Gourde, Ashley Robinson (Jonathan Lucio), her great-granddaughter Apollo Olivia Lucio. She was the sister of the late Maurice (late Laurette Gamache), the late Paul-Émile (late Marie-Paule Duval), the late Oliva (late Yolande Chassé), Réjean (Céline Bossé). Her family ties include her brother-in-law: Aurélien (late Cécile Gagnon), Irène (late Benoît Rioux), the late Victorin (Rolande Côté), the late Fernand (late Colette Duchesne), the late Yvette (late Désiré Paradis), the late Denise, the late Georges (Hilda Corneau), the late Patrice (Doris Landry), Romain (late Madeleine Brochu), Jean-Louis (Carmen Bergeron), Régis (Nicole Pelletier), Ginette (late Raynald Bérubé), Vital (Carole Ménard). Many nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends are affected by her departure.
