In Loving Memory of Deziree Victoria Auelua-Misa

Deziree Victoria Auelua-Misa, 30, passed away on May 23, 2026. She was born on October 28, 1995, in Monterey, California, and was raised in the Seaside and Marina communities she proudly called home.Deziree was known for her generous heart, compassionate spirit, and radiant smile that could light up any room. She had a gift for making people feel welcomed, valued, and loved. Her kindness touched countless lives, and her presence brought comfort, laughter, and joy to all who knew her.Above all else, Deziree’s greatest love was her children, Manaia Auelua-Misa and Amari Auelua-Martinez. They were the center of her world and the source of her greatest pride and happiness. She was a devoted mother whose love, guidance, and dedication will continue to live on through them.Deziree enjoyed staying active and took pride in her position as the Food & Beverage Manager for The Marriott. Outside of work and kids Deziree was obsessed with maintaining a healthy, Body and Mental wellness. Her many tiktoks and gym posts are a testament to her devotion to do just that, but her passions extended far beyond herself. As reflected in the many heartfelt tributes, videos, and memories shared since her passing, she was a dedicated supporter of local businesses, new ventures, and emerging artists throughout her community and across the country. She believed in lifting others up and celebrating their successes. Ever reminding us of our worth and of her love for us.She especially enjoyed the soul soothing vibes, love and unity given and received @ all R&Bezy events. She treasured every opportunity to gather with family and friends. Whether at holidays, birthdays, cookouts, community events, or simple family get-togethers, Deziree found joy in bringing people together. Family meant everything to her.Though her time with us was far too short, the impact of her life will be felt for generations. Her love, laughter, strength, and beautiful spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.Deziree is survived by her beloved children, Manaia Auelua-Misa and Amari Auelua-Martinez; her father, Daniel Misa; her mother, Alofa Auelua; her brother, Nathan Misa; her sisters, Alexandria Auelua-Heard and Bianca Misa; her nephews Nehemiah and Shiloh Misa, lastly, but certainly not least her Grandma and the matriarch of our family, Malo Auelua; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who loved and adored her deeply.She was preceded in death by her beloved Grandpa Sakaria Auelua, Aunty Naniloa (KILI) Tilei and Aunty Aiga Auelua whose memories she carried with her throughout her life.Deziree will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. Although our hearts may feel dark and heavy just know Her light will continue to shine through the lives she touched, the family she cherished, and the love she leaves behind.A Celebration of Life will be held at Bayside Community Mortuary, 1610 Noche Buena Street, Seaside, CA 93955, US, on June 11, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
