- On June 21, 2026, Diane Sirois passed away peacefully at the age of 73 at CHSLD Isidore-Gauthier in Alma. She was the wife of Mr. Rodrigue Girard and formerly resided in Ste-Monique. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Phylias Sirois and the late lady Laurette Malenfant.
- The family will receive condolences on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 10 a.m. to noon and from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Résidence Funéraire Lac St-Jean, 611, chemin du Pont Taché Nord, Alma.
- The last farewell ceremony will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. at the Chapelle Marc Richard, with a live broadcast available for those who wish to participate remotely.
- Diane was the mother of Annie Girard (Dany Gaudreault), Frédéric Girard (Véronique Gauthier), and Sara Girard (Nick Bergeron), and grandmother to Alexis Gaudreault, Gabrielle Girard, Maxyme Girard, Laura Girard, Océane Bergeron (Yoan Peron), Jasmin Bergeron, and Clara Bergeron.
- She was the sister of the late Annette Sirois (Jean-Léon Rioux), the late Berthier (Henriette Simard), among others.
- She was the daughter-in-law of the late Mr. Jean-Marie Girard and the late lady Marie-Laure Gagnon.
- Diane also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, especially Nicole Ouellet.
