Dinorah Monserrate Iannaccone

June 4, 2026 Dignity Memorial

Dinorah M. Iannaccone, a devoted wife, mother, sister, nurse, and woman of faith, passed away peacefully in Las Vegas, Nevada, after a courageous battle with multiple chronic illnesses. Throughout her life, and especially during her final months, she demonstrated remarkable strength, grace, resilience, and unwavering faith.

Born to Julio Serrant and Monserrate Ten Serrant, Dinorah was preceded in death by her beloved parents, her grandparents Miguel Ten and Vicenta Ten Campos, her cherished identical twin sister, Ivette Bazza, who passed away in 2016, and her husband of 33 years, Richard Iannaccone, who passed away in 2014.

Dinorah and Richard met in the Bronx, New York, where they both grew up, and were married on March 21, 1981. Together they built a beautiful life and raised their three children in Passaic County, New Jersey. Family was the center of Dinorah’s world, and she poured her heart into creating a loving home filled with laughter, faith, and unconditional love.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Richard A. Iannaccone and his wife Shana Sunnafrank, Jennifer V. Iannaccone, and Christopher M. Iannaccone and his wife Ellie Jaimes. She is also survived by her sister, Magda Lupino of Wyckoff, New Jersey, and her brother, Julio Serrant of Havana, Florida, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Dinorah dedicated her life to caring for others. After earning her nursing degree in New York, she began her career in healthcare immediately after high school, working in hospitals in the Bronx. She later served as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery at Passaic General Hospital from 1988 to 2006, where she helped welcome countless babies into the world. Her love for children and her compassionate spirit made Labor and Delivery the perfect calling for her. Following her move to Las Vegas, she continued her nursing career at Summerlin Hospital until her retirement in 2009.

Beyond nursing, Dinorah was a successful Senior Consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics from 1999 to 2008, attending conferences throughout New Jersey and Dallas, Texas. She approached every endeavor with dedication, enthusiasm, and excellence.

Her faith was one of the guiding forces in her life. Dinorah attended Calvary Temple International Church in Wayne, New Jersey, where she was water baptized in 2000. She faithfully served in the music ministry and theater productions under Pastor Ken Beach and treasured the friendships and community she found there. She loved the Lord deeply and modeled a life of faith, kindness, and service to others.

Dinorah found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved reading mysteries, romances, and her Bible, spending time at the beach, watching a good movie, and enjoying conversations about life with her daughter Jennifer. She cherished trips to the movies with her children, treasured time spent with her sister Ivette, her children, and family, and always looked forward to catching up with her sister Magda. She also enjoyed playing Bingo at Red Rock Casino and never turned down a plate of Chicken Parmesan.

Those who knew Dinorah will remember her as genuinely kind, generous, funny, and full of life. She loved being around people and had a special gift for making others feel important and cared for. She always put others before herself and found purpose in helping those around her. She was loyal, hardworking, compassionate, and possessed a quiet strength that inspired everyone fortunate enough to know her.

In her final years, Dinorah faced significant health challenges, including congestive heart failure, COPD, kidney disease, Parkinson’s disease, and recurrent infections. During the last several months of her life, she courageously endured dependence on a ventilator while continuing to fight with determination and grace. Through every hardship, she demonstrated the resilience and faith that defined her life, teaching her family to face each day one step at a time and to trust in God’s strength through every season.

Las Vegas became a place she truly loved, especially because it allowed her to be near her twin sister. She enjoyed her home overlooking the pool and treasured the life and memories she built there.

Dinorah leaves behind a legacy of faith, compassion, perseverance, and unconditional love. She taught her family the importance of kindness, resilience, hard work, and maintaining a close relationship with God. Her example will continue to guide those she loved for generations to come.

Though our hearts are broken by her loss, we take comfort in knowing that she is reunited with loved ones who have gone before her and is now resting peacefully in the presence of the Lord.

She will be forever loved, deeply missed, and cherished every day.

We love you always, Mom. Until we meet again.
