It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Donald "Donny" Nicholls.
Donny leaves behind his beloved wife of 61 years Ginette, his two sons Kenny (Lise Cléroux) and Steven (David Swan), two grandchildren: Pier (Erika) et Noémie, and his great-granddaughter Cali ; his brothers and sisters : late Edward Nicholls (late Marie Nicholls), late Eleanor Nicholls Grougrou (late Jacques Grougrou), late Robert Nicholls (Jeanine Nicholls), late Maurice Jr Nicholls (Monique Nicholls), late Oliver Nicholls (Cécile Nicholls) and Hilda Nicholls Byrne (Roger Byrne) , many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, and numerous dear friends whose lives he touched throughout the years.
Donny dedicated 42 years of service to the White Birch Paper Mill in Québec City, where he was respected for his hard work, commitment, and friendship.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of the Jeffrey Hale Day Centre for their compassionate care and attention. Special thanks are also extended to the second-floor care team at Saint Brigid`s Home and the palliative care team at Saint-Sacrement Hospital for their exceptional support, kindness, and comfort provided to Donny and his family.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
No funeral service is planned, but family and friends who wish to do so are invited to pay tribute to him in their own way.
