Dorothy Jean Corder Turner passed away on July 2nd at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was born June 10, 1929, to Brooks and Lena Corder. She was married to LA Turner, and they made their home in Houlka, Ms. She had one daughter, Nina Rena Turner. She attended Beckham school and was employed by the Indianapolis Glove Factory for 39 years. Her life reflected her faith shown in the way she loved others, offered comfort in difficult times, and found joy in the simplest blessings. Through her famous tea cakes, a sweet word of encouragement, or a silent prayer. Her bible was well-worn, her prayers constant and her trust in God never wavered. She found great joy in her family and cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Rena Holloway (Don). Her Grandchildren, Jeffrey Baker (Michelle), Dallas Collier (Ivan), Kristy Duke (Tommy), and Greg Baker (Merisa). 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband LA Turner. Her brothers Neal, Rad, and Enoch Corder. Sisters Mary Harman Robertson, Gwendola McCoy, Lounette Wages, and Nellie Rose Morrison.
