Elizabeth “Jenny” Remedios, 96, of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026.
Born in Hong Kong, China, Jenny was generous to family and friends. After retirement from Hudson’s Bay, Jenny was a volunteer at Volunteer International Christian Service (VICS), which is a lay organization established in 1971 by the Spiritans with a program dedicated to filling needs determined by indigenous people in developing countries.
Jenny is survived by her children, Francis (Teresa), Edward, and Audrey; and three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded by the passing of her husband Horatio.
A memorial service will be held on June 1, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Providence Renewal Centre, 3005 119 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6J 5R5.
