Eric Henry Schnoor

Eric Schnoor, 68, of Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on July 16, 1957, in Queens, New York, Eric was raised in Bay Shore, New York, before going on to earn his degree from the New York Institute of Technology. He built a successful career in information technology and consulting, working with companies including IBM, Bank of America, and through his own business, Schnoor Consulting.

Eric enjoyed life’s simple pleasures—cooking, trying a new restaurant, traveling, a good bottle of wine, or a well-made drink. Proud of his Italian and German heritage, he had a deep appreciation for good food, good conversation, and wasn’t afraid to tell you exactly what he thought. Intelligent, quick-witted, and famously stubborn, he was deeply loved by those fortunate enough to know him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Emily (Spada) Schnoor.

Eric is survived by his children, Dustin Schnoor, Jordan Schnoor, and Rebecca Schnoor; his sister, Emily Buzzerio (John); his brother, Edwin Schnoor; his niece, nephews, great-niece, and great-nephew; along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Eric’s memory by enjoying a good meal, raising a glass, or taking a trip somewhere you’ve always wanted to go.
