Eufemia R. Marcos passed away peacefully on July 22, 2026, at the age of 81. She was born on February 18, 1945, in Laoag City, Philippines, and was a resident of San Jose, California.
Eufemia was a loving wife, devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, and sister. She dedicated 15 years of her life to teaching, touching the lives of many through her kindness, patience, and compassion. She will always be remembered for her love of family, strength, and the beautiful memories she created with those who knew and loved her.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Teodora and Numeriano Rio. She is survived by her children, Mario, Gean, Rudy, Janette, and Erick; her sister, Veronica N. Rio; her grandchildren, Erron, Kiarra, Justine, Janel, Kayla, Patrick, Miguel, Khyle, and Kaitlyn; and her nieces, nephews, daughter-in-laws, son-in-law, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rodolfo Martillano, and her siblings.
Her love, faith, and legacy will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
