Eugene Westervelt, age 62, passed away on April 22, 2026.
Eugene is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years, Michele Westervelt. High school sweethearts and lifelong best friends, their love was the foundation of a beautiful life together.
He is also survived by his loving children, Heather Westervelt-Davenport and her husband Eric, and Bryan Westervelt and his wife Kaley. Eugene was a proud and adoring grandfather to his three grandsons, Hudson, Brooks, and Miles Westervelt, who brought him endless joy.
He leaves behind his sisters, Debra Spadafora and Donna Klein, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Eugene had a larger-than-life personality. He loved his family fiercely, had a gift for making everyone laugh, and lived life with a bold and adventurous spirit. There was never a dull moment when he was around, and his energy and humor will be remembered by all who knew him.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
