It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Florine Martin which occurred at Maria Hospital on July 9, 2026 at the age of 79 years.
Predeceased by her father Louis A Martin, mother Elizabeth Caplin and her companion Hubert Barnaby.
She leaves behind her loving children: Sharon (Louis), Shirley (Michel), Reynold, Sheila (Clifford), Sandra (Jerry), Erick (Carlene), many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other family members and friends.
The family will receive condolences at the Elders Lodge at Gesgapegiag, on Monday July 21, 2026. Visitations will start at 2 p.m. and continue until Tuesday until 10:30 a.m. Funeral will be held at the Kateria Tekawitha Mission at 11 a.m. Burial to follow.
Professional services have been entrusted to the Henri Thibodeau Funeral Home Inc., a subsidiary of the HG Division network certified Distinction by the Corporation des Thanatologues du Québec and by the Bureau de Normalisation du Québec.
