At her domicile, on July 15, 2026, at the age of 79 years and 10 months, she passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Mr. Berthin Dumont, daughter of the late Mrs. Juliette Bérubé and the late Mr. Philippe Dubé. She lived in Rivière-du-Loup, formerly in Saint-Louis-du-Ha ! Ha !, Témiscouata.
She was the mother of: the late Francisco, Sylvie (Mario Roy), Manon (Daniel Dubé). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Vincent (Annabelle Cadieux), Claudie (Émile Pavez-Buist), and Jacob. She was the sister of: Angella (Gilles Robichaud), the late Noëlla (the late Jean-Guy Massé), the late Claudette (the late Jean-Marc Ouellet), the late Jacqueline (the late Gilbert Ouellet), the late Gaétane (the late Claude Ouellet), Jeannot (Christiane Castonguay), Carole (Gilles St-Pierre); sister-in-law of: the late Maurice (Bertha Turcotte), Monique (the late Clément Girard), the late Hervé (Marie-Berthe Tanguay), Abel (Lisette Germain), Noelline (Rosaire Dubé), the late Marius (Céline Fortin), the late Gisèle, Onil (Serge Pellerin), Gaétane, Claudette, Lucie (Paul-Yvan Chouinard). She is also mourned by her nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends from the Dubé and Dumont families.
The family wishes to thank the caregivers of the SIAD and the Maison Desjardins in Rivière-du-Loup for their dedication, support, and the quality of care provided.
