Francine Lafrenière, aged 50, passed away on July 4, 2026, at the Rouyn-Noranda Hospital in Malartic. She was the daughter of the late Marcel Jr. Lafrenière and France Pelletier, and the spouse of Stéphane Renaud. She resided in Malartic.
She leaves behind her children: Alex, Kelly (Joel), Mary-Kate, Mary-Lou, and Billy; her brothers Pierre and Francis; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; her parents-in-law Gérard (Lyse); her nephews and nieces, as well as many relatives and friends.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Rouyn-Noranda Hospital for their compassionate care.
The viewing will take place at the Coopérative funéraire de l'Abitibi in Malartic, on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The farewell will be held on the same day at 4:00 pm at the same location.
