Proud Army Veteran from the Rosebank area of Staten Island, NY, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026 at the age of 94.
After discharge from the Army in 1954 Frank worked for Brooklyn Union Gas company then for the MTA as a NYC bus driver, a career he enjoyed until his retirement.

In retirement Frank relocated to Hollywood Florida where he was able to enjoy his life long passions of fishing, boating and days at the beach. As a member of the Lauderdale Small Boat Club Frank met many of his friends and enjoyed an active social life sharing good food and stories about his family, fishing and trips to Italy.
Frank was proud to live an independent life in Hollywood driving himself shopping and to his favorite restaurants and cigar shop right up until the last six months of his life.
In his later years Frank truly enjoyed visits from his friends and family and phone calls from his many nieces and nephews and their children who he proudly bragged about.
Mr. Barresi is survived by his brother Joseph, sister Antoinette(Zona) and his beloved nieces and nephews. He was pre deceased by his siblings Dominic, Anthony, Marion and Francis.
Frank’s lively personality and spirited conversations will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Rest in Peace.
