Freddy Ray Dyer

August 20, 2026 Elgin, Quebec Dignity Memorial

Freddy Ray Dyer was born in Austin, Texas, on March 10, 1958, to Alton and Littie Mae Dyer. He passed away on August 20, 2026, at the age of 68. To know Freddy was to remember him. He had a way of filling a room with laughter, honesty, and the kind of spirit that stayed with people long after they walked away. He spoke plainly, lived with grit, and always shot from the hip. A true cowboy at heart, Freddy was generous, loyal, and willing to give the shirt off his back to someone in need. Above all, he carried a heart of gold, a steadfast faith in God, and a deep, unwavering love for his family, especially his children and grandchildren. The love he gave so freely will remain a lasting part of the family he cherished so dearly.

Freddy leaves behind the family he loved so deeply: his children, Kishia, Raelynn, Freddy Jr., Vernon, Joshua, Kody, and Daniel; his grandchildren, Ashley, Robbie, CJ, Jonathan, Brianna, Peyton, Julianne, Landon, Brady, Charlie, Mikayla, Destiney, Cassian, Joshua Jr., Olivia, Daniel, Derek, Lilly, Nathaniel, Aaron, Lily, Israel, and Isaac; his great-grandchildren, Mason, Katie, Presley-Rae, Ashley, and Clayton; his three sisters, three brothers, and many nieces, nephews, and friends whose lives were touched by his love, humor, and presence.

Freddy was welcomed at Heaven’s gates by his children, Julianne and Derek Dyer; his great-grandson, Keith Gregg; and his parents, Alton and Littie Mae Dyer. Their reunion brings comfort to those who loved him and faith that he is now at peace.

Some people pass through our lives quietly, while others leave a place in our hearts that can never be filled. Freddy Ray Dyer was one of those people. His laughter, love, faith, and cowboy spirit will live on in the stories shared, the memories held close, and the family he loved with all his heart. He will always be loved, remembered, and deeply missed.
