With saddened hearts, we announce the passing of Frieda. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Ron, and son, David, she is survived by her children Michael, Nancy, and Stephen, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Frieda leaves behind a wonderful legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. She was the heart behind so many family traditions and celebrations, bringing people together through laughter, friendship, and extraordinary meals. From the countless family feasts she lovingly prepared to the picnics enjoyed with her grandchildren and the dinner parties she hosted for friends including the Lachute camps gang, she created memories that will be cherished for generations.
She also generously shared her time and culinary talents for several decades as a volunteer with the West Island Meals on Wheels program.
Always ready with a kind word and thoughtful advice, Frieda touched the lives of many.
