Gabriel Fournier, born in 1938, passed away in 2026 at the age of 88. He was the husband of Madam Anna Marcoux and the son of the late Marie-Alma Bernier and the late Joseph-Arthur Fournier. He resided in Quebec.

He leaves behind his daughters Nancy (Danny Richard) and Carole; his brother Raymond (Pauline St-Laurent); his brother-in-law and sister-in-law from the Marcoux family: Roland (Louise Laberge), Nicole, Pierre (Lina Frenette), and Claire (Mario Boucher); his godson Mathieu Fournier and his goddaughter Nathalie Drolet; as well as many nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
He was the brother of the late Pierre (Lucille Perra), the late Charles (Ghislaine Landry), the late Jean-Eudes (Henriette Poirier), the late Marthe (Jean-Guy Ouellette), and the late Marielle (Jacques Beaulieux). He was also the brother-in-law of the late Mariette and the late Lucie Marcoux.

The family will receive condolences at Centre funéraire Saint-Charles, 1420, boulevard Wilfrid-Hamel, Quebec, G1N 3Y6, on Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 1:30 PM to 3:15 PM. A ceremony will follow at 3:30 PM at the same location.
