In Loving Memory of Gail Connolly

October 18, 1947 – August 11, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gail Connolly on August 11, 2026, at the age of 78. She was the wife of Richard Guévremont, widow to Jerome Prince and the daughter of the late Phillip Connolly and of the late Diana Thibault.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Lanthier (Jeff Lanthier) and Jennifer Prince Bernard (Daniel Bernard). She was a proud and loving grandmother to Chelsey (Kurt), Dawson (Christina), Aurilia (Chad), Jacob and Joshua, as well as great-grandmother to Blake and Chase.

Gail will be deeply missed by her sisters, Evelyn Bérubé (René) and Patricia Giles (Ron), her brother Don Connolly (Sharon) as well as many brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cherished friends from La Salette and from her earlier years in Hull.

Gail was a strong woman and the person her daughters could always turn to for advice, encouragement, or support. Her love for her family was constant and unconditional, and she took great pride in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Gail enjoyed the simple pleasures that brought her happiness. She was an excellent knitter, loved doing crossword puzzles and reading, and treasured her time fishing and being outdoors. She especially loved spending time in her beautiful gardens, surrounded by nature.

Gail’s strength, wisdom, kindness, and love will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. Her family will forever cherish the memories she gave them, the lessons she shared, and the love that connected them.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever in our hearts.
