Gary Roland Raymond

Gary Raymond, born on March 25th, 1960, was born and raised in St. Albans, Vermont, and passed away peacefully at his home in Jacksonville, Florida, on August 8th, 2026. An accomplished electrician, Gary was known for his strong work ethic, skilled craftsmanship, and willingness to help others. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time at the beach, where he found relaxation, peace, and happiness. Above all, Gary treasured the time he spent with his family and friends.He was predeceased by his mother, Myra Anne Toof, and his stepfather, Wayne Toof.He is survived by his father, James Raymond; his brothers, Jeff Raymond and partner Margret, and Greg Raymond and wife Barbara Raymond; and his nephew, Nathan Raymond; and his beloved children, Grace Raymond, and James Raymond, along with James’s fiancé, Beth.Being a father was one of the greatest joys and most important roles of Gary’s life. He was deeply dedicated to his children and was always there to support, encourage, and guide them through life. He was their protector, biggest supporter, and someone they could always count on. Gary took immense pride in his children, and his unwavering love for them will remain in their hearts forever.Gary was also a proud grandfather to Jack Raymond and wife Lexi Raymond, Mckenna Raymond, Chelsea Raymond, and Cassidy Raymond. He was blessed to be a great-grandfather to Kennedy Raymond. He cherished the memories he made with them and took great pride in watching his family grow.Gary is further survived by the entire Mckenna family, Kelly Martin, and many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were enriched by his friendship, guidance, and generosity.His love, wisdom and unwavering dedication to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will forever remain a source of comfort and inspiration.Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.
